HUGS Cathy!! I'm so sorry for your family. Even George, he didn't mean it. And it wasn't ANYBODY'S fault. You are a great parront, your pics show that your Fids are well taken care of, so none of that stuff. When the time is right, I hope you do get another Fid. But after some time and remember all the fun you had with Ms Dilly and how quick YOU tamed her down HUGS again hun! I'm sorry. May Ms Dilly be welcomed by all our loved and departed Fids! |

Thank you Papug, Fi, & Parfie!
It's wierd, I think all of us here feels each others joys & sorrows when it comes to our fids, we just all have that much in common, which is a pretty strong bond, really, when you think of it. So, in a way, I'm sorry to everyone too for the loss In a strange way, I feel like I've let you all down too, & I am sorry for that I guess these kinds of things kind of go with the territory, but it's just so sad when something like this happens. |

I'm afraid Baby Dilly is no longer with us. It was a terrible accident. When my husband came home from wherever, he let the dog, George in & George is always very excited to see me, so first thing he does is come running up the stairs to find me. I was sitting here at the desk holding Dilly, & not even thinking! Dilly flew to the floor in the excitement, & George crushed her before I could drag him off
I'm very, very sorry to have to tell you all this
Oh I am so sorry. I can barely imagine how awful this must be for you. I haven't been around much lately, so I just saw this post. We all know how much you were already attatched to your little Dilly. Maybe when your ready you can get another LB. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
With my Sympathy,

I really don't think that is true. Accidents happen, even bad ones, and nothing can be done about it. Heck, I'm still hoping for fertile eggs. But I don't think I am pushing my luck. I want a violet LB and I will wait as long as it takes. Don't let the bad things keep you down. Once your ready for another LB you'll be so happy and we know you will give it the best of care.

Thank you Wystearya!
You know, I've had such good luck (knock on wood) with Poppy & Manu. And now this happened, after only a week! It just makes me feel like, maybe for some reason, it just wasn't meant to be. This was just really bad, a tough one to go through. But, I'm sure that someday the opportunity will come along again, that I just wont be able to pass up! |

Very sorry to read about Dilly, the same thing happened when I was a teenager and we had Budgies, one day the dog came in and accidentally trod on one, these things happen so quickly there's nothing that can be done, think of the love she bought with her, that never dies. |

Thank you Julie, & I'm sorry to hear about your budgie. That's tragic, & even tho it happened years ago, I'm sure that's something that's just unforgettable Something like that is just so awful, so senseless! |
