| Flit is talking! |
|
|
Yes! I couldn't believe it myself!
Flit just said 'Nenya' just like Iago, but then more 'whistle-like' though it's very clear that he says 'Nenya'
(Nenya is the name of my dog!)
I am so proud! |

Today my Flit said - Flit
I coudn't believe that!
How this happened?
He was sitting on my shoulder, when I was working on my PC.
Flit sang his songs *Cit Cit* (quite anoying sound), when in the middle of that he said - *Cit Cit Flit Cit*...
it was a shock for me. I never knew that lovebirds can speak. Now I'm waiting when he will say it again... but nothing happens... |

Just now he repeated it , and again..and again...
But if u don't know his name, it is difficult to understand what he is talking .
It is such an awesome thing to know...

Kitie, how wonderful! You must be really proud!
Can you record it when you hear it again?
Iago mostly talks when he's alone.. When I spy on him I get to hear the most strange words LOL! |

That's funny Sue, that's when Manu does all of his talking too, when he THINKS he's alone!! I wonder why some birds do that? |

LOL Cathy! Those little stinkers! And I assume Manu keeps his beak shut when you're around? (Most of the time?)
I think they are shy, or, if they're really 'evil', they want to let you believe that they're stupid he he he!
(Ofcourse, we cannot be fooled LOL!) |

LOL! I have wondered if Manu just wants me to think he can't talk! There have been numerous times when I think he believed no one was around, & he just goes on & on to himself, I mean actually carrying on almost conversationally ! My hubby & my daughter have heard him do this too! And the most I ever get out of him when I'm around is a few words, what a stinker!! |

Well, I don't even know how to do that .
I have a microfon, but I have no idea how record his voice on my PC... He speaks his name only in the middle of his songs (cit cit), when I come closer he stops to sing and flyes on my shoulder and plays with me... |

Hey kitie, it's good to hear Flit is saying his name!!
Apollo still can't say his name, but he copies the dog's bark real well, and he coughs now like humans as well. He'll copy you if you're coughing away!! That little stinker... |
