I need suggestions on how to tame my six (unclipped) peachfaced lovebirds! I just want them tame enough to step up on command and let me stroke them. I've tried everything I could think of, but they'll only come to me for millet spray, but we run out of that really quickly, and they aren't supposed to have that much. Any suggestions?

Hi ParrotGirl,
Welcome to fluffies
The thing that you want from your bird is TRUST.
This is something that will take time and effort from you.
Somethings that you can do:
- be around you bird as much as you can and they will get used to you (you can make your homework)
- you can try to get your bird to feed from you hand (start with millet, that is long so you can hold it and at the same time there is distance between your hand and your bird)
I hope that you will give it a try and let us know how it goes.
