has any of you LB owners notice the difference between the loving nature of the peachy's(males any way) verses the mask LB's ? I got my baby blue mask a few weeks ago and he is so different than what my peachy baby was.I was told that it is just a mask thing. The blue mask is not nippy at all but could do with out human contact. |

I have never heard of these differences, but then again, I don't know much of masked lovebirds.. |

Unfortunately the Mask and Fischer Lovebirds can be quite timid, even when handraised. Well, actually, they are very timid birds. I breed Masks and when the babies fledge, they start flying all over the cage just when you walk past. Once they are fully fledged, i move them into a smaller cage so they get used to human contact. |
