Awww, what a cute photo Jeremy! It's hard to believe how they will turn into feathered beauties, isn't it?
Jeremy, I changed the photo into a link.. We're trying to improve the speed of this board and as a 'test' we put merely links. Or you can upload to your diary/homepage?
I hope you understand..
Sorry for nagging. |

Just thought i would pop in and say i have had a very rough time with these babies.
The mother lost 2 babies so there were only 4 left. I decided to pull them for handraising as i didn't want it to happen again.
I lost 2 babies as well
They were severely dehydrated and incredibly small for their age, i am feeding the remaining 2 pedialyte with their handraising formula and it seems to be working, very slowly they are getting their normal colour back.
They are 4 weeks old now and should be nearly fully feathered, but, they are still VERY small and only have a few feathers on their wings.
I hope they make it but at this stage, i am nit prepared to say whether they will or not
I will keep everyone informed on their progress |
