Hi, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. It was touch and go there for awhile with Jake, but he made it through his illness.  His diagnosis was heavy metal poisoning from ingesting rust. I'm happy to report that he no longer is vomiting, nor has diarhea. He's eating seeds again and is off all meds and pedialyte. It's so nice to have him play with his toys again and not sit fluffed up all day long. Also, his brand new
B-I-G stainless steel cage is on it's way. Should be here any day. Just wanted to update you. Thanks for all your support! |

YAY  !! That's terrific news! I've been wandering how he was doing & praying for the best! Oh, I can imagine how happy & relieved you are! Great job on your part for getting it taken care of before it was too late, & great job on your vets part too!
I would love to see some pics of the new cage when you get it. You really can't go wrong with a stainless steel one, I'd sure love to get one myself! |
