I was wondering about something: when you buy a macaw should it be banded with a ring? Should it be registerd ? im interested in knowing that because i might travel pretty often and maybe move to Denmark...

I will not risk losing my bird thats why i ask...

I think some breeders band them and some don't.

You might also want to consider microchipping your bird, if you're worried about losing him.

I saw a story on the news the other day about this cat that had gone missing for 4 years, and he was found in another city, and they traced the owners with the micropchip Laughing
