Hello I live in SOuthern California USA & I have a Military Macaw. I don't think she (my macaw) knows she is a bird. She is 20-25 years old. I am looking for other people in my area to hang out with that also have large parrots (we love going to the park). Just to see if she realizes that she is a bird. She is a good bird I just think she should know that she is a bird for some reason. It might sound wierd but she is spoiled & was raised arround cats (she chases them though). I am also thinking of getting another parrot to keep her company & I want to see if she likes hanging out with other birds. I can be reached at stevestow@verizon.net thanks.
