Favorite veggies?  Reply with quote

Anyone's little one have a fav? Or something they just do NOT like?

Sera will try anything. It doesn't matter what it is. And she's a typical Too as she just shreds it and spits it out.

Uri, on the other hand, will spend 15 mintues eating a pellet until the last crumb is off his toes. But as far as veggies, he seems to be afraid of anything green. Uhhhh.......all the good healthy veggies are green. I know there are others.....but all the good calcium filled ones are leafy greens.

My parrots also try anything, but they donīt necessarily eat it... If I give them carrots or other hard and crunchy things in bigger pieces most of it ends up on the floor in small pieces.

They like sweet potatoes and corn but they seem to hate leafy greens.

My sennie has a huge appetite. His favourite veggies are corn on the cob, green beans, peas in a pod and baby carrots.

You can give it to them any way you like, and anyway they like!

My Apollo loves raw brocolli, and not cooked, but he hates raw sweet potatoes, those have to be cooked first.. hehe.. I also use frozen vegs, but after thawing, but on occasions when it is extremely hot here, they get them frozen. I also sprouts seeds/beans for them. they love that too. Very Happy
