I just leave my lovebird's food in all day, and at dinner time they get fresh food, like cooked vegetables or beans, or pasta. You should always remove fresh food after 2 hours because it can gather bacteria. |

Hi Bayray.. I put food in their bowls when they're done eating it and I change it daily. (Because there are no preservatives in that kind of pellet)
For the pellets that is, because fresh food I remove after a short time: 2 hours or so.. |

I always keep my birds bowls full of pellets too. In addition, In the morning I generally also give them fresh fruit, or scrambled eggs with veggies & late in the afternoon or eve I give them veggies. |

I'm the same,
I leave pellets for Apollo through out the day. But he gets soft food three times a day.. in the morning, when I get home, and before he goes to bed. He loves it. He also get fresh stuff in the evening. |
