I feed my cockatoos veggies, and pellets and seeds daily. Pellets are they main source of food though.
I give them a little piece of fruit every so often, mainly apples or mangoes.
Mangoes are good source of Vit A, but quite high in sugar though, so I wouldn't give that too much, and they also get a bit mushy after the tooz hold it for a little while!! hehe, Apollo usually ends up with yellow wings and tummy!! hehe

I used to always sprout beans and seeds for them, they love the sprouted seeds. I haven't sprouted some lately as I keep forgetting to sprout them! sprouted seeds are good source of nutrients. both cockatoos and ringnecks parrots would love it! Even my budgies love sprouted sutff. try it... all you need to do is get some seeds soak it for 12 hours, drain it, rinse it and put it in the fridge for two days. but remember to rinse it everyday though even when it's in the fridge. When you see the seeds start to sprout little roots, it's time to give to your birdies!! Very Happy
