Today, I bought my Zupreem AvianMatinence Natural Diet pellets from Pet Valu. The pellets cost $14. But at Petsmart where I bought the pellets last, they cost $20!! The bags were the same size and everything!! Confused maybe one of these got the price wrong..but I don't know... Shocked

Is pet value the one where they don't sell animals? I'm pretty sure Petsmart tends to be on the expensive side, maybe cuz it's American? I buy my pellets from a vet, my vet sells zupreem pellets, I'll check the prices there next time I go. I buy my dove seed from Globan Pet food and it's $7.99 a bag Razz

Pet Valu sells small animals. Like ginea pigs (sp), rabbits, lizards, small snakes, fish and birds like budgies, finches, sometimes tiels, occainsionally they'ld have a quaker or a meyers in, and once they had a TAG. This is my pet valu. it is called Pet Valu Plus Pets, most don't sell animals tho

In the Netherlands, prices of pellets vary enormously! Shocked
I mean, I pay like 43-55 euros for 5 pounds of Harrison potency coarse. I think it's about 30 dollars in the US! The euro is a lot higher than the dollar at the moment.
Someone is making a lot of profit. I think, if I calculate the price into dollars the price of Harrison is about 52-67 dollars per five pounds!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

I think the good brands of pellets are all pretty expensive. Someone is definitely making a good profit.

Cheekie, we pay $17 USD for a 10 lb bag of Zupreem avian maintenance.

Wow you pay so much for your Harrison pellets!! Last time we got the big 2kg (5lb) bag and I think it was around $US20?? We usually get the small ones which $US7 or so if I remember correctly... the same sized small bag was $US11 at the vets... I'll definately look at the prices when we go back to our bird store, which might be this weekend since we're starting to get low on nutri-berries.

That is sooo cheap! I would consider myself lucky if I'd live in the US as a birdlover. Cool

The 5lb bags of Harrison's are about $35 a bag here. It varies a little with the formula and the place of purchase.

I can't even get Harrison here in Perth!! so I go wtih Vet-a-farm, which is an Australian standard pellets. I'd like to try out Harrison, but I do think that I have to get it shipped from the Eastern states, and it'll cost me roughly $55AUD for one kilo bag.. that's 2lb right?
