jazzy likes raw sweet potato! he is just chowin down on a sliver right now. i tried it warmed up a little but no he prefers raw. might try mashed soon. what other foods do you think he would like? he seems to like orange (carrots) and things that aren't to hard to "chew"?

Hard to say what Jazzy will like since they are all so individual in their preferences Smile That is good that you are experimenting with different items while he is still young... My Red Bellied didn't get much exposure to different foods when he was young, so now he hates just about everything and is unchangable. Just keep doing what you are doing with different vegetables and keep record of what he especially likes or doesn't like. My girls love red bell peppers! They come in orange too... Smile

Do you give him raw broccoli? My lovies really like that. And they also LOVE steamed peas, it's hands down, their favorite veggie.

Perhaps a stupid question but is it the same as normal potatoes? I once ate a small piece of a normal potato (raw) and my throat hurted for like some hours. Shocked

Peas are favourite here too!

hmm I've never eaten raw potato, but if it was a sweet potato you ate, it would have been pinkish on the inside and not white like a regular baking potato

It was a regular.. I have never eaten sweet potatoes. I saw a hippo yesterday on animal planet that ate tons of them a month. Laughing
But, back on track: Do you have a blender? You can throw everything in it. A little bit of broccoli, chicory, capsicum, banana etc etc. They love it here. And it keeps me healthy as well. Laughing (I add some orange juice for myself)
