dance/mating/showing off?

hi can anyone help me figure out what my blue ringneck is doing?
he does this little "dance" which involves his (or her) pupils going very small so his eyes are almost entirely blue and lifting the tops of his wings (keeping the bottom of his wings tucked closely to his body) and standing very tall, whilst chirpping away!
any idea what this behaviour is related to? mating? or just showing off? Question
