| Help! Lost Budgie! |
|
|
I had to leave for something, and my Mother was yelling at me to hurry up, and made me leave Merlin (budgie) on the table. I just got back and I can't find him anywhere! I've checked the tops of the doors, under the table, around the edges of the room, behind his cage, the tops of the windows, under the couch, and everywhere else I can think of. I even climbed the bookcases! I know he's in the room, because I heard him chirp a few times and ruffle his feathers, but I still can't find him!
Where else might a budgie hide? |

He hasn't fallen into the trash can or hidden himself in my bookbag either. I'm fairly sure he's behind me, but I still don't see him. |

He chirped again! I'm almost sure he under the desk behind me, hiding in the wires, but I can't find him! |

Silver Cry, I'm sure that if you've heard him chirping, he's somewhere in the room. Is there door shut & no other pets are in there that might possibly get him?
There's really nothing else I can tell you to do except keep looking!
I'll be on the computer for awhile, so please let me know, OK? |

Yeah, the door was shut the whole time we were gone and I don't have any other pets. It turns out, he was perching on the wires right under the place where there's a hole in the table. I couldn't see him because of the keyboard tray.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Merlin is back in his cage safe and sound. =^.^= |

Eh heh. For some reason, he likes to perch on wires. He's behind the computer tower right now. I think he's on the monitor wire. So far, I haven't seen him chewing on them, but I'm considering buying one of those rubber wire jacket things. |

Hi! When I read your post I was reminded of when I lost my budgie! The only difference is my bird FLEW out and down the street! (The story is in my homepage)...fortunatley like you....I got her back!
I remember how awful the feeling was wondering where it was and feeling hopeless.
