hey guys  Reply with quote

my parrot does like the stick, but i use a longer one because he will get close to my hand and try to bite me, he is agressive i'm telling you, i don't use the stick alot because i always get tired to hold him, thanks for the advice, and by the way my parrot's name is federico.
p.s i always try to get him out of his cage everyday, and he just hides behind the tv, i don't know why? he is probably a little scare still, or hides in different corners, Confused

i have ringnecks too  Reply with quote

hi there

i have two ringnecks male and female they hate each other and always fight i keep them seperated in one big cage, the female like to come out and fly and is the tame but the male is still shy will come to ur hand but sometimes bites me (they both were with me for the same period of time)

so patience and try to give him treats like veggies by ur own hand from outside the cage so he knws u speak softly and spend longer time with him in the same room and with time he will be fine

good luck

yes i try to give him treats, but for some reason he gets angry, he doesnt want me near his cage, he'll grab the treat but throws it on the floor or just drop it in his water, like telling me he don't need treats or something. i try when i'm holding him too, and he just throws it anyways. but you are right i know that in time he will change, and i am having alot of patience thanks for writing back.
