| My Lovebirds are SCREAMERS |
|
|
I have a 2 yr. old Peach face lovebird and a 6 mo. old Dutch Blue lovebird and while the Blue lovebird is not so loud I am having a horrible time keeping my peach face quiet. I have tried everthing to help him stay quiet, including getting him a new buddy (which helped) but I am not sure what else to do-I have tried time outs, treats, spraying him with water, ignoring him, play time, and various other thing the vet said to do. If anyone has any suggestions please help!! |

Hi there, welcome to the forum
Lovebirds are quite vocal birds and their vocalizations can be quite loud and constant, this is not really a behaviour problem or something that you can change, it's just their natural behaviour. My lovebirds are pretty loud and they get louder when they're playing and happy or excited it doesn't bother me though.. sorry, you might just have to learn to live with it. |

Hi there! Welcome to fluffies!
I agree with Shirin. Lovies are vocal birds.. And their vocalizations can be very loud sometimes!
If they aren't loud during the whole day, then I wouldn't see this as a problem. |
