Yay, I saw him play with his toys AND he started whistling today
Still no drinking though. |

Good, he's probably beginning to settle in and feel more safe and secure in his new surroundings. As for the water, if I've seen mine drink 3 times since I've had them it's probably a lot. They just don't drink very often. But, be sure he knows where his water dish is and that his water is always clean. As Shirin suggested, a couple little extra cups for food (or in this case water) near his perch will help you be certain he knows where to get a drink when he wants one.

Thats great! If she is happy and playing then I would imagine she is keeping herself hydrated and just drinking when you're not looking, hehe. |

budgies come from the hot grasslands of Austraila, where they have to survive droughts. So they just don't drink that much.
I've had my budgie for 3 yrs, and I've only seen her drink ONCE (I don't think she even drank, just dunked her head in the water) |
