my 16 week african grey keeps puffing her feathers up when certain people go by her, could you tell me what this means please |

That is agonistic behaviour towards someone whom the bird perceives to be an intruder in his/her territory. |

she,s hardly ever in her cage only for bed and when we all go out so no its only when she is out and it seems to be to 3 of my daughters she seems fine to the boys and she is like it to strangers |

yup, it's what I said above. She doesn't necissarily have to be in her cage. My African Grey will go on top of my lovebird's cage and do this to them too. It's just whatever space or person she has claimed her's for the moment. |
