Hello everybody, after a long long break, I am back in this forum. I have a Senegal Parrot called Kiwi who will turn 3 years next spring. I am not sure if he is male or female but I like to refer to him as male
Anyway when I got him he was not used to any kind of human contact but now he just loves me and everybody and I can lay him on his back and play with him etc. He is a sweetheart. Only thing I lately noticed is that when he is hanging on me or my husband and sometimes we lie on the couch with a blanket or wearing warm sweaters, Kiwi starts this kind of digging game - He starts digging his head inside and under the blanket or in the armpits when I or my husband are wearing big sweaters - He likes to squeeze himself in tight places and hide inside the blanket - it is very funny but I was just wondering if there might be an explanation for this behavior - maybe he thinks it is a nest or something. Also my husband thought to make him a playhouse out of old blanket where he could hide himself. What do you think about this?
regards,
kristin
