I am slightly worried, today when i piched up Dobby and put him on my shoulder he began to shiver Shocked Shocked Shocked He calmed down when I cupped him in my hands but when I put him back on my shoulder he beagan to shiver, again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is worrying me Sad is this serious and should it be looked at by a vet????? please I am worried Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad

what kind of shiver are you talking about?? was he content sitting on your shoulder? was he on one leg and all fluffed up and the little feathers are shivering? all my cockatoos do that when they are content. like they are just sitting there happy. they fluff the feather up a bit and shiver to produce more body heat.

It could be something else though so you have to describe the shivering more...

I'm with Cheeta.. I am wondering the same. They can shiver when they're content.

He is sortta shacking. Is tha bad? And his droppings look like a sausage? They are the colour of millet, they are also very thick, like the oppisite of diarrea!!!!!!!!!! Help I am really worried!!!!!!

It sounds pretty normal? Here the droppings are quite thick too. I was wondering if you could make a photo of it. If you don't trust it, please visit an avian vet.

its funny because i was going to ask the same thing as the person who started this topic because my senegal shakes all the time and im worried about it, he does it almost all the time Confused
