Without knowing too much detail, I have to say I like the looks of #3. I don't have an eclectus myself, but that cage is the same design as my macaws & he sure loves spending time on top of his cage, with the perch & all on there & it's a great place to keep his foot toys.

And BTW, congratulations Very Happy !

I like the play tops, it keeps the mess in one place and he can go in and out of his cage to eat, I have a dome top and never open it, my too just isn't interested.

I have one similar to the first but we always keep the top closed because our bird is much more interested in running around on the top and playing with toys we put up there for him rather than perching on one stick Wink. I reckon a play-top one would work pretty well either way because your bird can choose to ther play on the top or just sit on the perch. I guess it depends on how active your bird is? I don't know how active ekkies are, maybe someone else can tell us that Smile

Personally, I would find another cage, one that is lower. (Let's say no more than 1.60 meters, but that's just my opinion)
I have found out that my birds are easier to handle in cages that are lower.. Even better would be chest highth, but I understand those are hard to find!

you could always cut the legs shorter before asembling the fittings at the bottom (as long as they are plastic not welded in)
mine would get a little bossy with me if they were higher than eye level.

So when'r telling that playgyms rulez Laughing I will think about a playtop one. Now I will compare the best cages #3 from the first post and the last one.
Compare:

SIZE:
#3:125x85x190 (inside 105x65x160)
last one:105x80x180 (inside 80x60x150)

FEATURES:
#3:has got 4 ladders to the top playgym
last one: has got one ladder

#3 has bigger doors than last one.

last one is dark #3 is white, advice me which is more practical?

Which one would be more suitable for u?

Thank you for help.

I personally don't think 4 ladders are necessary. I guess a dark color would always LOOK a bit cleaner than white. How much is the price difference?

As far as the play gym, that's just my personal preference. With the one on top of the cage, I'm able to open the cage door in the morning, & Manu can go up there & play as he wants. Others tho prefer to have a play gym, or play area, seperate from the cage.

But I'm going to build a Play tree or stuff like that AND make a nice place to have fun on the top of the cage.
Cages are on auctions, so there is no stable price, but generally dark ones are cheaper.
Is this cage size difference necessarry or both equally are good? I bealive in "the bigger the better" rule.
Advice me, but you guys dont have to hurry, Im not going to have babie in nearest months.

Shells, that's an idea too! Smile
Do you also have the problem of your birds getting bossy and a pain when they're higher than you?
The shoulder is the 'limit' over here.. Sad

I've found nice cage sized 90x60x175cm (90x60 without this seed coughter (am I right with spelling?)
Pic...
There another one sized 110x80x185cm but its much more expensive, if you find it nice I will take this one.
