| Food coloring??? |
|
|
Hi all,
I haven't been on the site for a while but I recently noticed that Dobby really prefferes coloirful toys to plain ones. I've made him several wooden chew toys but he hasn't enjoyed them as much as he liked the coloured store bought ones. The store ones are coloured with natural veggie coloring and i was wondering if food colouring is safe to use? Thanks all.
P.S.

The food coloring I bought from grey feathered toys is Wilton. This is what is used in cake decorating. What I like is that it is a paste (no leaks if tipped) and it is really concentrated. Use a tooth pick to scoop out a pinch and add it to water. Do not use a plastic bowl unless you really like that color. Good luck. |

do not use food coloring!one way of making food coloring is to get a bowl ,then get a small toy then get colorledpaper, rap the toy in the paper and fill the bowl with tap water, then put the toy in the water, thenput it near dobby.
make sure it is a wood toy.
put it near dobby.
do not put it near his food or water |

Actually, I would say food colouring is a lot safer than colour leeched from coloured paper. The colouring used on paper and magazines is usually toxic and not meant for consumption. |
