hi, im new and also getting 2 new parakeets!!!!!!!! I was wondering if anyone could tell me the dimensions of a cage that is good for 2 parakeets. Thanks for the help

I would say: As big as you can afford.. Very Happy Especially because there are two of them.. I would provide them a large cage so they can retreat if they get tired of their roommate.. Very Happy

There is a bird Fair in Ind soon, You can get more cage for your money there. If you want I can get more info on it..

a budgie's cage should long rather than tall. Birds aren't helicopters, so the height is sort of useless. however get them a long cage and a fair deep one.

I would say the cage should be at least 22' long, 20' deep, and 20' high.

My two indoor pairs have their own little cage. the cage's dimensions are 23' long, 22' deep, and 26' high.
The good thing with these four budgies is that they use just about every inch of their cage. some don't like to utilise the bottom of the cage, but mine play with the toys down there.

Oh make sure the bar spacing is about 1cm wide. any bigger its' too big for budgies.
