| Pilot loves action men toys! |
|
|
I visited a friend with a little budgie the other day and when they got her out they grabbed some lego men and the budgie went nuts! knocked them over and squelled at them and threw them off the cage then dive bombed them. It gave me an idea to get Pi something like that. I went to kmart and found a pack with a fireman, police man and roadworker (very village people ) about 10cm big with all moving parts (no choking hazard tho) and pi instantly loved them. He plays like a kitten. If i hold them on the end of some string he kick boxes them and chases them around trying to catch it. All the time squealing with glee. Then he will pick it up and carry it around with him. He doesn't really try to chew them up, just licks and beaks them to death. Its great because besides his bell ball he hasn't really taken much notice his other toys much. I'm happy I've found something he has so much fun with. I leave it hanging in his cage and he hangs upside down off them and talks to them. |

Picasso loves them too, I get all the free toys from Mc donalds, he also likes the cat toys with bells in them. |

How weird! I was just thinking about how Chaquita would react to lego's just a day or so ago I'll have to give it a try since Chaquita seems to be afraid of EVERYTHING! Those are small enough to be non-threatening, I think She's also afraid of brightly colored things, like wood toys I made for her. As long as I keep them natural colored, she's okay. Otherwise she's like "WOAH what the heck is that!" |

I have bought something yesterday. Not lego, but some tiny plastic pipes. I put straws in them, and all my fids love them.. He he he!
(They're boys as well LOL!) |
