Those are really nice! What are the green plants? Your birds have tons of toys and room, I bet they do love them.

When I was last at my moms house for the weekend, I found a very large fallen tree. It was a plum tree. We really didn't have the time to cut it up to fit in the truck this trip, but I've got to look up to make sure that's not toxic. I'd love to some day get it home & make it into a tree stand for my birdies. |

Thanks for letting me know Ksue. If there's any question, I wont even use it. I'm sure there are other trees to be found elsewhere. I'll keep looking. Someday my tree will come |

Prunus is not recommended.. |

I'm so glad I didn't bother bringing it home before finding that out!
I'll keep searching for an appropriate tree. |

No, no gum trees here. We do have a mulberry tree in our yard, but just havn't cut any large branches off of it. However, if a large enough branch ever falls from it, I think I could use it. We have 2 very old & large locust trees, which I know are poisonous to them.
The other trees we have around here, I couldn't even tell you what they are, so really don't want to take a chance with them.
In both Poppy & Manus cages I have manazanita branches. |
