I am wondering if anyone has similar experiences with this store?
Oh Sue! I did not know anything about that store... just found the article and noticed it was written by someone who owned a store too I will keep that in mind, and not buy from them! It is so frustrating when you are trying to get a hold of someone and they don't reply, or they avoid you

You didn't? I found them years ago when I saw their drawer toys. They're sooo nice! She recommended to have the smaller version, even though I told her that my MM2 was such a destroyer. The toy didn't last very long. When I presented the other one (I had two drawer toys) it was also destroyed.
Chances are those toys might hold with beaks that don't like to destroy everything.. But then again, it's an expensive experiment!
If you like those drawers I wouldn't get them for the destroyers (I think that will include Starion!)
It truly was a pain that they didn't respond. |

I have seen those drawers before... yes, I do like them and thought it was a cool idea! I think you're right about Starion, she will most likely be a destroyer if she's normal. Gryffin is not a destroyer, but she might not care enough to want to open the drawers! They look like plexiglass which is acrylic... I don't see how they can break that easily even with strong beaks! Maybe you should have gotten the large size after all! That is too bad that it broke right away... I know those are not cheap!

Yeah, please don't get one for destroyer-in-shell-Starion.. I bet it won't last until she learns to know about the strength of her beak!
Isn't there anything Gryffin likes?
They weren't cheap.. A friend brought them to the Netherlands because they wouldn't ship and now they broke in just days! |

Gryffin actually likes all toys, but she isn't as curious as a Cockatoo about having to take things apart and open them, etc. She is highly intelligent like a Too, but more sedate and introverted. I am fortunate that Gryffin's toys last a long time! She chews, but is not voracious about it. Robin can keep his toys forever too. I think I will have to buy lumber for Starion though!

Gryffin likes a foraging toy that was an acrylic box with slots and holes in it that she had to pull leather pieces out of. She does play with all her toys. She is not picky about what they are made of. It is so funny when she play fights with her toys and makes growling noises as she plays
No, Robin really doesn't use a variety of toys. He prefers just sitting and chewing on plastic chain links for hours. He does destroy that... the link gets shorter and shorter. I guess he doesn't get bored to easily! He also likes bells. If he does chew wood, it has to be small, thin pieces only. If it is too big or chunky shaped he will ignore it. He is so picky with toys and food! I wonder if most poicephalus are more like Iago or Robin when it comes to chewing?

That toy, what you're talking about.. I think I've seen it and it is sooo cool!
I think there are all kinds of poicephalus.. After all, Robin is a red belly and they might have other characters?? |

Yeah, as we know they're all different... but Robin is a typical male RB with his temper!
