No, mine don't "talk" ..doubt they will because they have each other. I got Plato (green) first, and he imitates some outside noises.. like my neighbors car.. it has a squeaky belt.. and Plato just loved that sound.. NOT ME..lol... and he also can whistle a little.. but now he is so in love with Mya, that all his attention is there. I think if your bird is the only bird in the house, your chances of him talking are better.. but I'm not sure...
