| Our Dolittle is sick. |

Jrmno1, I have passed your poems around to all the bird people I know. It gets to me each time I read them and I've hoped and prayed that "last journey" doesn't happen around here for such a very long time. I don't think I'll be getting that wish. Our Dolittle is not well, hasn't been for over a week and I am guessing he won't be here by Monday. He started having seizures last week. I've been trying to get him to eat since yesterday with out much luck. No eating or drinking really but his last seizure was late last night. He's on Baytril and something for pain-inflammation the vet gave us last Friday but he's worse than ever. I'm trying handfeeding formula, Jucy Juice, water and Pedialyte. I'm not giving up but he just looks so bad. |

Awwww, I'm so sorry to hear about your little Dolittle  I'll keep you both in my prayers.
May I ask what is causing the seizures? |

I have no idea for sure.. could be several things. I'm freaking.. Got to do all I can. He's only 1 yr old and so special!! |

Young Lady,
It greves me so to here of a death in our family, that is what everybody on here has become. I can not find the words to tell you how much it hurts to think of lossing one of these guys, Something in all of us suffers when one passes like this. More then just our thoughts and prayers are with you and Dot tonight.

I am so sorry for your loss! It was so sudden  I had no idea how bad Dolittle's situation was! I can't imagine how it must hurt to lose one of my fids. I am thinking of you both |
