Please and thanks ((*_*)) xx Smile

THESE BARS ARE ALL NATURAL AND BAILEY LOVES THEM. HERE IS THE RECIPE:

ONE HALF LARGE COOKED SWEET POTATO
ONE LARGE TABLESPOON LOW SUGAR/SODIUM PEANUT BUTTER
ONE EGG WITH OR WITHOUT SHELLS
LOTS OF CINNAMON
ENOUGH OATS TO THICKEN LIKE COOKIE DOUGH

MASH THE SWEET POTATO AND STIR IN ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS, OATS GO IN LAST. IT SHOULD BE A VERY THICK DOUGH, IF NOT YOU CAN ADD MORE OATS. GREASE A LARGE COOKIE SHEET AND SPREAD DOUGH OUT VERY THIN ON THE SHEET. CUT DOUGH INTO SQUARES OR RECTANGLES THAT ARE A GOOD SIZE FOR YOUR BIRD TO HANDLE. BAKE AT 400 DEGREES UNTIL EDGES ARE GOLDEN BROWN. AFTER THESE ARE DONE I PUT THEM IN FREEZER BAGS AND JUST PULL THEM OUT AS NEEDED. DON NOT PUT THEM IN THE BAG WHILE THEY ARE WARM AS THEY WILL GET TOO SOFT AND FALL APART. I HOPE YOUR GREY LOVES THEM AS MUCH AS BAILEY AND CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR THE OUTCOME. ALSO DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS ON CARPET CLEANING WITH A BIRD IN THE HOME? THANKS AGAIN

Smile Hi Baileysmum
Thanks for the recipe. I will try it! Praise
I cant help you about the carpet Im sorry. Lots use the POOP OFF product, but Im not sure any of it works Confused I just think you have to try and put a towel or cover down under them when you let them out and about flying around, cos you usually get to know where they may land, theyre 'regular' Embarassed in that respect alone haha!! Laughing
In the playroom I have wood mulched it for him (see my new diarypages for the latest update on how thats been going);
In my home I have white cushionfloor everywhere and before I had him I was a white carpet houseproud idiot; My my how my life has changed now lol
Other than the white cushionfloor or some sort of lino type stuff, try a little household toilet soap (anything we use on our own faces and bodies) cos according to Aggie & Kim all that works. I dont know if VINEGAR would be an option... Iv yet to find that out; but it can be used for an awful lot of household cleaning type of stuff

Good Luck with it all anyway..
I'll let you know how George gets on with the new recipe
I think itd be a good idea to have a recipe page in this website, one where people could post the odd recipe or two for us all to try, Maybe you should have a word with the site owners about that!

Regards
parrotpotty & George (*_*) (*>*) xx Heart Feather
