Well I have trhought and read and talked it out and have decided to gop on ahead and get a sennie! Very Happy I can hardly wait....tomorrow hubby and i get to go see which one will lean towards me and vice versa......I know that visiting will be bitter sweet since I will obviously enjoy bonding with him/her but saying goodby will be hard! Crying or Very sad But I will be counting the days until baby comes home. Now for a new name.....hopefully they haven't been sold yet! Shocked I need to make a phone call!

congratulations and it's about time you got yourself a sennie Very Happy ... I know what you mean about the waiting, it almost killed my husband and I, but our visits were something that we really looked forward to ... it was amazing at how much he changed from week to week ... everytime we went for a visit I took the camera so I've got tons of pics as he was growing up... and I talked to the breeder just about every day while we were waiting for him and she kept me updated on what he was doing ... you are gonna love your new sennie ! Very Happy

Thanks everyone! Yes!, I am so excited and as you can imagine my day today is going by so slow. I plan on taking lots of pics too, so hopefully you all can see my new addition. The sennies are only 3 weeks old, so they have a bit to go. The store where they are at like to keep them for a good while to make sure they are healthy and strong. But they are close enough that I can visit daily! Is that too much? Nah!!!!!

So, Tia, did you make the call? Are they available? We are all anxiously waiting for you to tell us which one you choose! And then you can start a home page for us all to see your baby! Daily visits are definitely not too much!

Hi everyone, sorry it took so long to respond! We went to the river and had some boating fun. We called the store and they put me on a waiting list! They only have two birds and of course now I am the third person interested......ugh! so if the second person is not interested...what are the chances in that! They will give me a call and I can go in and put a deposit on the baby! So we shall wait until tomorrow for a definate answer.

Great, boating fun! Smile What kind of boat do you have?

I also find it unlikely that a person isn't interested in those cute babies.. But, chances are that it doesn't 'click' between a person & one of the birds.. Let's hope for that!
Else, how long will it take for them to have other babies?

I keep my fingers crossed!

Well fluffie the boat belongs to a friend...his son is a professional skier, boarder and stuff. we had a bunch of kids at his cottage and they all went in the water on the boards and stuff......I enjoy the ride! Very Happy
I am hoping that the other person will not respond to the bird but we shall see. I do have another bird breeder who does have nice birds, I will get in touch with her and see when and if she will have any sennies soon.

I see, lucky you to be allowed to use that boat every now and then.. Smile

Curious if the other breeder has Sennies, is that breeder just as reliable as the one you told us about..

Please keep us updated! Smile

We happen to live a few minutes away from a river and our friends are very nice in sharing their boat. Very Happy The other breeder is the person who i got my quaker from and she is very good, loves those babies and cares for them very well. She had a few sennies a few months ago but she can look to see if her other breeder friends will have any and if not then I will wait for her to have some...which could take a while but I think it would be worth the wait. I can take my time and get the perfect cage and perfect toys! Shopping! Very Happy Very Happy But I will keep everyone posted.

Oh Tia,

What a bummer!!! I'm sure if it's meant to be, then it'll happen for you. Otherwise, yes like you said, more time for you to set up a nice and perfect cage for the new addition to the flock!
