Pushing a miniature pushcart  Reply with quote

I'm in the process of learning Iago pushing a pushcart. I had found a miniature (though a little big for Iago, sadly they don't have smaller ones) pushcart and I thought it would be neat to learn Iago to push it.
I have practiced just a few sessions and so far he's pushing it a little. Very Happy It's kind of hard for him because the other tricks are all based on bringing something back to me. Rolling Eyes

Oh Sue,

I cannot wait to see the movie of Iago pushing his cart....

Would it help if you put Iago and the cart so that he can push the cart towards you... Question

Just a thought...

Iago is such a good boy... Send him kisses and hugs from Pi and me...

Ehm, I don't know.. He seems not to understand colors.. Or I use the wrong method to train him? He rather does tricks than learning colors?
No writing for him! Else he could write mean things about me here!

Sue,

What I thought was that if Iago likes bringing stuff to you... If you put Iago one side of the table facing you with the cart in between you he can push the cart to you???

Does that make sense?

Yeah it makes sense now! Sorry for not understanding.. Rolling Eyes That's one of the ways I used to learn him to entice him to push the cart. Cool
