Tim is making more changes  Reply with quote

Very Happy Tim is being a real love bug, when I put my hand in the cage to get him out he gets very kissy kissy and now whistles to get attention and when I was looking at him tonight because he'd been whistling to get attention he did this repeated this yawn thing which I did back to him and which I read was a sign of affection. It wasn't a real yawn, just opening and shutting the beak in a way that was similar to a yawn, he was on the top of his cage and when I went to him he walked over to me and did rub noses, all the time making little sounds and chewing, it was so sweet and special. I'll have to be careful that he doesn't get too amorous but with being wild caught I think he knows he's a bird so hopefully it won't be a problem.

Thanks to John and Carrie for the information about the food dishes, now I know what they look like I'll ask for them when I go to buy parrot food and if I can't get them there I'll follow up the link you gave me for Cunninghams. Petsmart is known as Pets at Home in the UK and they didn't have any of those dishes on their web site.

He is a sweet heart over most things but Aimee keeps a wary eye on him now and when he's out of his cage she sticks to me like glue. I found that if she stays right by me he doesn't attack her. I thank my lucky stars I have such a sweet natured dog although I don't take things for granted.
