Seeds, nuts, fruit and vegetables - especially green ones like broccoli and peas.
What does my house (cage) look like:
An enormous Art-Deco looking cage with toys and perches. It's on a wheeled base as one person alone cannot lift it.
My personality can be described as:
Incredibly friendly, gentle and laid back. She came out to sit with me on the second day she arrived. She loves being scratched around her head neck and chest and will put her head down to ask you for a 'tickle'.
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
Rope and wooden hanging toys, a hanging bell with chewy stuff round the string and a seed bar inside. Out of the cage she loves to shred pens and pencils given half a chance!
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
Squawks occasionally but loudly when wanting attention. Speaks indistinctly but when 'tuned in' you can hear 'Hello Esme' 'Esme' 'What you doing?' 'What's this then?' 'All right?' and she makes kissing sounds.
Something special about me:
She has a drooping right wing which I was told she had since very young so cannot fly that well. But, typical parrot, she climbs everywhere anyway. She's about 6 years old, by the way.
