Mister is a fairly picky eater. He will like something one day and not the next. He eats the following: all peppers, green grapes and apples, kiwi, oranges, peas, corn, soy beans in pod, oatmeal, baby bok choy, okra, green beans, papaya, mango, carrots if cut small, birdelicious "pellets," some nuts and few seeds.
What does my house (cage) look like:
MIster has a white iron/powder coated cage-dometop. It is probably about 4'x2'x3' He is only in there to sleep and while I am at work. Otherwise he's out climbing the sides and dometop, or playing on his perches.
My personality can be described as:
He is pretty mellow so far...hasn't hit puberty yet :) He will step up for anyone...and most of them he will allow to kiss him...and a few he will kiss back. :) He doesn't really like to snuggle or be petted, but he really wants to be involved in EVERYTHING!
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
He likes anything he can shredd or tear apart...so he gets a lot of paper/shreddable toys. So far he HATES swings. I think he doen't like the unstableness.
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
He has squaked a few times, but I try to just completely ignore it as to not give any reinforcement...he does a lot of mumbling, which is super cute. He can also say "uh oh, peek a boo, come'ere, goodbye, tickle tickle tickle..."
Something special about me:
Mister is special to me because I was never interested in birds before I came in contact with the Eclectus breed. Then...here comes Mister...He is just so entertaining, lovable, smart and fun to talk about :)
