My name is Kelly (Jelly)

I am a Green-cheeked Amazon

I am female, I think

I don't know if I am left or right pawed

I don't know my hatchday

I was adopted on Wednesday November 23, 2005

The things that I eat (my likes & dislikes):

She started off eating Parrot food in a bag, and getting peanuts for treats sometimes. After reading this site more and finding some things she might like and how to get the bird interested in eating it I tried it and it worked. I gave her broccoli (cooked) not the flower just the stem and she did not touch it. Then I tried fruit and she loved all the fruit I gave her. Strawberries, cherries, grapes, banana slices. It is so cute when she eats a strawberry her beak gets all red it is adorable.

What does my house (cage) look like:

When my boyfriends' grandpa gave her to me she came in a black cage shorter than me w/ 4 wheels on the bottom. I wanted to get her a bigger cage but then i thought about it and came to realize she likes her cage she knows how to climb up and down it so easily. It seems cozy. I don't know. I should buy her new toys for it. I just don't know what kind to get her. What do Mexican red-headed amazons like and dislike????? I didn't buy her. Maybe I will just try different things.

My personality can be described as:

Kelly is fierce, loud, funny, shy w/ others. She also loves to bite on her nails. She loves when she sees me in the room and when I go to leave she yells PAPA because her previous owner was my boyfriends grandpa and little kids called him Papa. When she doesn't want to do something she says " I Don't Wanna". She will get out of her cage and walk across the floor. She perches on my shoulder and usually poops when she's up there. I scratch her head a lot. My 4 yr. old female Yorkie leaves her alone now. When I dance she screams. When I laugh she laughs too. I love my fluffy little baby. She's a doll.

The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):

She has old toys that I've never seen her play with like a sun with a mirror in the middle of it. Something that hangs down with a plastic heart, star and moon & something to sharpen her beak with that's white. You can tell she use to use it but not anymore. That's not really a toy though.

The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):

A lot of noise when she is excited or scared, and when I'm leaving. She can say Papa, I don't wanna, and laugh.
