I am still learning about Jaspers likes and dislikes. He is rather picky right now. He is eating grapes, eggs, 100 % orange juice, some seed/pellet mix, whole wheat bread and pasta.
What does my house (cage) look like:
Jasper has a huge cage to sleep in. Jasper has a lot of toys and wood to destroy and play with. When we are home Jasper comes out of his cage and has free roam of the "bird room". Jasper also has his own playstand to perch and play on.
My personality can be described as:
Jasper, like all M2 species, has a loud voice. He is such a sweatheart and loves to be touched. When he wants attention he will screech! When we open the door he says "Hellloooooo" and "Hi Jasper".....and you can not help but give him attention.
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
Jasper loves to play and has a huge variety of toys. He has a lot of baby toys, wood, and bird toys. I have not found anything that he won't atleast check out. His favorite is wood. His favorite game is toss. He will take a smaller toy into his claw and then place in his beak. Jasper then flips his head to throw it to you. If you catch it, he will put his claw out to try again. If you miss the toy and it falls to the ground, Jasper will laugh!
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
Like all M2's he has a loud voice! Jasper (for the most part) is a quiet bird...which is a good sign he is content. I know if he is really loud, that he needs some attention or wants something. Jasper says "Hello", "hellloooooooo", "Hi Jasper", "Hiiiiiiiiiii", "Pretty Bird", "Pretty Boy" and he laughs. Somewhere along his sad journey before finding me, he picked up some curse words beginning with the letter "F". We ignore those! Jasper also mumbles a lot, and even though I don't know what he is saying, I let him know it matters!
Something special about me:
I was told Jasper is 15 years old. Jasper is special! I am happy to report that he has not plucked his feathers since I have had him.
