My name is Cheekie Kon-Tiki
I am a Senegal Parrot
I am male, I think
I don't know if I am left or right pawed
I don't know my hatchday
I was adopted on Saturday July 9, 2005

The things that I eat (my likes & dislikes):

I eat most things. I like fruit, vegetables, pasta, brown rice, a tiny bit of cheese, fruit juice, birdie omlettes, parrot-sized pan cakes, a tiny pinch of a peanut butter and jam sandwich, breadsticks, toast, etc. My main diet is a small scoop Hagen Small Parrot Gourmet, and a larger scoop of ZuPreem Natural Diet non-coloured pellets.

I love corn, but If you give it to me on the cob I recoil in , and I refuse to eat it from the fresh food bowl, only from mommy's hand.

What does my house (cage) look like:

I have a large black KingsCage, which looks like it was meant for a larger bird, but the bar spacing is just right for me

My personality can be described as:

My parront says I'm devoted, loyal, possesive, sweet, cuddley, playful, smart and hilarious.

The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):

I have lots of toys. I may leave some out by mistake there are so many.

Likes: Swing, Ball Toy w/little package-type things on, plastic chain, wooden toy, Pretty much anything I can chew, foot toys etc. The others I don't really care about

The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):

I have a high pitched screech. I must have a vocab of over 30 words and phrases, and my parront doesan't teach me things to say, I make them up. Here are a few favourite sayings:

"What are you doing?"

"Hello Cheekie"

"Pretty Bird"

"Hello Cheekiebaby"

"cheekiebaby"

"what are you doing cheekiebaby?"

"myahhh" (cat meowing, thats how he pronouces it)

"Quack"

"Petrie"

"Peekaboo"

Laughing (I do it when I bite my parront or when another bird flutters to the ground.)

Water Noise (whenever my parront has something to drink I make the sound of running water)

I talk in a Donald Duck on Helium voice, and I say long things that my parront doesan't understand.

Something special about me:

Yes. I have yellow spots on his back. We (my parront and I) have been told:

-fatty liver diease (vet and animal commincator told me no)

-damaged spots from where I plucked in his other home

-nutritional (I was on all seed in my other home)

-Pied senegal or spilt pied (not a pied, they have all yellow backs. Spilt pied, possible.)
