A summary of the life of: Iago
| The parent is: Fluffy Sue |
My name is Iago
| I am a Senegal Parrot
| I am male
| I am left pawed, I think
| Saturday April 10, 1999 is the day I hatched out
| I was adopted on Friday May 21, 1999

What does my house (cage) look like:
At this time, Iago doesn't live in a cage anymore. He stays on his parrot tower junior all day long!
Sometimes, he visits Wheezy & Scutttle. |
My personality can be described as:
Iago isn't very active like Wheezy or Scuttle.
He's very outgoing and loves to meet new people. He thoroughly enjoys joining me on my trips and meet new interesting people. If he has their attention, I'm not that interesting anymore.
He's also very eager to learn things. He really enjoys working with me. |
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
A little too much I guess. I rotate toys every once in a while.
Iago especially loves wooden toys. He's a real demolition guy. He destroys even more than Zazu, my cockatoo.
Since a while, he has the Tiki-Take Out toy, of which he has to chew the wooden bars to reach a treat I've put in there.
Iago also has toys with which we play together like rings on a peg, piggybank, puzzles and more.
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
Iago can be very noisy!
He can also make sweet noises and talk in a very sweet way.
He uses his words appropriately at times.
Like he yells 'Sh*t' when he falls of his gym, or he makes a very irritated noise: 'Tssssk' |
Something special about me:
There's so much special about Iago! Iago is my first parrot.
He amazed me sooo many times with his intelligence.
Like I came into the livingroom one day. Iago lifted his foot and said: 'Hi'.
(I thought I'd gone mad hahaha)
But he really did lift his foot: He taught himself how to wave and greet me properly.
I have rewarded this, and now he does it when I ask him to.
