Tuesday December 12, 2006 is the day I hatched out

The things that I eat (my likes & dislikes):
I like to eat fruits and veggies. I love corn and grapes. I don't really care for mango. I also have an endless supply of Zupreem fruitblend flavor pellets. I pretty much munch on these all day.
What does my house (cage) look like:
I live in a large white cage 32inX21inX34in. It is a pretty large cage for just one bird but I love it. I also spend a lot of time climbing around on the outside of my home.
My personality can be described as:
I'm really shy. My parents raised me and it is taking a little time for me to get used to my new mom. She works with me every day. I didn't trust her to start off with but she kept getting me out of my cage and holding me and wrapping me in her shirt and blowing on my face and a couple of days later I was getting on her hand without her having to chase me down. Now I like to ride on her shoulder. I have secretly fallen in love with Suri the Sun Conure in the other room but she is already married but that won't keep me from trying. I'm quite the casanova.
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
I like ropes and I love birch branches. My vet said that it is okay for me to chew them. I have a rope that is a spiral shape that hangs from the top of my cage. I sit on the top when I sleep and nap.
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
I don't make much noise compared to Suri and Bastien the Sun Conures in the other room. Although in the morning I have to let my mom and dad know that I'm ready to be uncovered by singing. My mom says that I sound like a cockatial and a parakeet all tied up in one. I haven't learned to speak yet but I'm trying. Hey I'm only 6 months old. Humans don't talk very well until they are 2 years old!!! HEEHEE
Something special about me:
I would have to say that my mom is my something special. She came and got me from this lady that had so many birds that her house smelled like a litter box that hadn't been cleaned in months. I wasn't happy there. All she did was feed me. No interaction what so ever. I was really sad having to leave my sister behind but my mom only had room for me. I miss you sister!!!!
