Wednesday February 28, 2007 is the day I hatched out
I was adopted on Friday June 15, 2007
The things that I eat (my likes & dislikes):
Starion loves to eat Harrison's pellets more than anything. She eats the small size without even chewing... she will take a small mouthfull at a time and just swallow. She eats some vegetables too, but I think unfortunately, most of them end up under the grate She's really not that big into food in general. Stereotypical Cockatoo... too many other important things to do instead of eating! Sometimes she will get distracted while eating... she will just forget to finish chewing before biting a toy, so the veggies just fall out of her mouth, which is also how food gets wasted! Weird bird...
Very, VERY active!!! Outgoing, playful, and mischievous. She is also very independent which is great.
I put that she is left handed because she only steps up with the left. When holding a treat, she uses the right foot.
The toys I have (my likes and dislikes):
All kinds... She especially likes shreddable stuff, but I've never seen a toy she didn't like. She will play with anything, and is nearly CONSTANTLY playing with any one of her 15 toys! Did I mention she is VERY active?!! She can figure out how to get treats out of puzzle toys too.
The sounds that I make (and the words I speak):
I guess she's 'medium' in the amount of noise. Her most common call is not loud, but nonetheless can be irritating. Sort of like a big Cockatiel chirp? Even her loudest call is not real bad compared to some other Cockatoo species. She also makes a funny monkey hooting sort of noise which is really hilarious and cute.
Something special about me:
She is just so cute and funny and soft... All of her species is that way, but I am convinced that I have the most adorable one!
