BIG HOMEPAGE SCREWUP!  Reply with quote

Crying or Very sad Help! I really messed up my homepage. I tried to upload a photo and it ended up at the top of the homepage and when I tried to move it, it wiped out my senegal's main picture. How do I fix this big mistake! Sad Do I delete my homepage and start over or is there a way to fix my big screwup. its really bad this time. I'm still new at computers and when I try something I sometimes mess up. I really need help on this one. I wanted to add my tiel Digger's pic onto the site and a short story. It will be one year today, June 11th that Digger suddenly died. I want to share his story and picture. I'll also add his story and pic to my diary page when I learn what I did wrong when uploading and trying to move the picture. Crying or Very sad

Yikes! This doesn't sound ok. You can just upload the photos you'd like and put them on the place you want. You don't have to delete your diary.
If you want me to help you please let me know. I can also upload photos for you..

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Please accept my sympathies..

Homepage screwup makeover  Reply with quote

Confused Okay, I tried working on the homepage and fixing it. I did get a picture uploaded and put at the end where I left off with the story. Also somehow, SweetPepper's picture showed back up. I was able to move it over and redo the typing of "SWEETPEPPER'S HOMEPAGE" title at the top of her picture. I still have a problem, the picture I uploaded yesterday of Digger with his animal friends is still at the very top of the homepage and I can't move it to the end where I want it. If you scroll up from the title and Pepper's pic eating cereal, you will see Digger's pic w/stuffed animal friends. I tried to click on it and drag it but it won't work. How do I get the picture to the bottom where I left off with the story? I would like to add acaption to it also. Can you help me? Confused This homepage stuff is hard and confusing. Thanks.

Moving of photo  Reply with quote

Smile Yes, thank you for moving the photo for me. Now how do I fill the empty space between the stuffed animals pic and the pic of Digger in his box hut below? Can I upload a photo and place it there with added text? I really appreciate your help and with moving the photo. Hopefully soon I'll get the hang of all this stuff. Also, when you start a homepage or diary page and you choose a certain layout or color, when you go to edit it , does it automaticly use the same layout and colors or do you have to choose how you want it again?

Sentiel, when you go and update your homepage, if ou think you've stuffed up the homepge and can't get it right again, just exit it without saving anything. you can do that by just clicking on 'my homepage' again. it'll take you back to your previously saved version of it... though of course you'll need to redo what you want done again.
