Maybe a Problem  Reply with quote

Hi Sue,

There is something I am doing wrong.....

At the bottum of Amy's section, in the Text Parapargh, Just before I start Charlie's section....

Ok Now we are in the right spot... There is something in there... Toggle back and forth between the "Source" . The inturputer that is read the source is sticking extar Paragraphs in the HTML Source... puting extra lines in. The only I can real see that is different is the line "she bit the %$#@# out of me ". I change that text. But it is constaint so I thought you might want to show your programmer( who is really good) the error before I change anything. Let me know...

Thank you for your input.
I don't really understand what you mean. Could you copy the text you mean and highlight the part you mean?
Thanks again.. Smile

Hi,

(I am sorry, I do seem to get techie without realizeing it, I have been a computer programmer for 20+ years....)

On my homepage..

Go into to the Edit page.

View the Source code...

View the page again...

Go down to the Text part of Amy's section

At the Bottom of her text section. You will find aditional blank lines.

Everytime you switch between the two screens it will put another blank line. But only in her Text section.

I hope this helps...

Oh that is what you meant. Sorry, I got to the part of Amy and then I missed it.. SOrry, I'm not English. I'm Dutch so perhaps it's also the language barrier! Sad

I'll look into it! Thanks!

Hi Jrmno1,

I have taken a look at your homepage.
And I have found the problem.
I at the start of the title "Amy, she is a Red Lored.", you have a html-tag opening a new paragraph. And the end you did not have one closing the paragraph.
The editor tries to correct the html-code when you switch between, the html-page and the wysiwyg-page.
Only the editor correct it not the why we wanted it to do.

The editor does sometimes change things.
I hope that in a newer version of the editor it will be beter.

I have changed the html-code of your homepage, to correct it.

If you have more question, please post them.

I hope you will make much more pages about your birds
