I keep getting lots of .tmp files appearing and as soon as I delete them they come back just as fast! I have virus scanned, spyware and it said I had a virus which was some Win32 thingie, but now its coming up all clear.

I am still getting the .tmp files all the time, hundreds at a time and also pop ups to serious X -rated sites Shocked

Any help would be great as I am at a total loss now!!

Emma.

Emma, when you do your virus scan, does it show you a list of PUPs, Possible unwanted programs? My McAfee program does & I usually delete those, as that's where most of the X-rated pop ups come from.

Emma, I know a good program, it's called hitmanpro.
I am not sure if it's available in English but it covers a lot of antispyware and virus programs.

I have finally fixed it, woo-hoo. Laughing

I traced it to some file in the registry called Yazzle, and the tmp. files have now stopped!

Thanks for the advice though.

Emma.

Ohhh Bih, what kind of virusscanner do you have?
Can't you get an external harddisk to save your photos on? Or a dvd?

Hey bih.

If you have flash drive (USB drive...flash drive...whatever you call it), then you could just put ALL your photos there.

If you have a empty disc, then you could just do the same thing.

If you need more help, just tell me. Bye! Laughing
