| Resizing Videos? |
|
|
Hi,
Is there anyway to resize videos? I made a really cute one. It's called "Birdzilla". I took different cuts and and ran them all together with titles and credits.
Sadly, its 45.somthing MB, too big for YouTube. Is there anyway to shrink it down? sorry, I'm totally new at this!

are you sure it's too big for you tube?
I've uploaded much bigger files than that onto Youtube. I think their limit is 100mb and 10 minutes long. |

Is that before or after Google bought them out. Google has changed a lot of the rules...
I believe I heard that through the grape vine...

I think it's still the same.. although I have to double check...
otherwise, you can always upload it to photobucket that should still have 100mb limit |

What kind of camera are you using Haley? Did it come with any editing program? If so, you could cut some of it out. What kind of file format does it use? AVI maybe? |

The camera is a Pentax Optio E10, and I have Windows Movie Maker. and all my vids are AVI.
I don't need to upload it, I was just wondering. |

OK, you might have to do some editing in Windows Movie Maker to cut some of it out to make it smaller, before trying to upload it to You Tube. |

AVI is quite large. You can make it smaller with windows movie maker. I believe you can choose a smaller type too? |
