| Unsure about video and diary |
|
|
Hi
It's me again. I am wondering where I can put video of Bella. I have seen video. I don't know if it can go in my diary or if it can not be put on fluffies.org. Still having trouble with placing pictures. I will put one on and then move it and try to add another and loose the first one. Or I will have 3 or 4 and then try to move them and loose all of them. Etc. What am I doing wrong? I try to drag and they won't drag. they will move with the space bar or the back or enter keys. I hope I have given enough information that someone can tell what I am doing wrong. Thanks so much

Debi, thank you for asking this here..
Due to problems with the movies, we temporarily switched off that option.
You can however send them (the movies) to me & I will post them..
If you also keep experiencing trouble with the photos, please also send them to me & tell me on which page you want your photos to be added..
However, if you rightclick on the photos & then cut them and past them, it should work?
Please wait for the whole page to load, I've found out that this may cause problems too! Sorry, I'm working on it!
By the way, I'd love to see those movies he he he! |

Thank you for the information. My videos are still rough. Not something I would want to show right now. But in the future I will if I get one that is good I will send it to you. I worked on my Diary last night and I think I may have it kind of. Anyway I do have a diary page now. Thank you for the forum. I have really learned alot from every one. Things that I may have done wrong that could have hurt Bella. Your advice is very appreciated.

What do you mean with 'rough'?
Do you mean not good enough? Well, that's on us to decide.. He he he! I'm sure I won't agree LOL!

I mean I just got a digital camera that does video, I am not sure how to use it very well. I am learning. It will take practice. The sound needs to be better and that will come with practice. and the Pictures need to be clearer but again this will come with practice. I have never had a video camera so all of this is new. I do better with still shots. I have really enjoyed putting pictures on my web site and my diary.

He he he, well I can't wait till you find a video good enough to send it.. I'd love to see it!
You can change photos with photoshop, did you know this program? It works very well! It's amazing how you can change photos from very dark into something that's very nice..
(I did it with some snowphotos, which were very very dark!) |

Is there a certain program you use to lighten up photos. I use Adobe photoshop to work on pics but I have not tried to work on a video clip before. What ever program you use, I may be able to get it from my brother in law. He owns a soft ware company.
Thanks for the advice. For sure one thing I need is a light that goes over the camera just not the flash. The news paper in Salt Lake came and did an article on my husbands family. He gave me some good advice about having a brigher light, farther away from the lense.
I will work on this this weekend.

Yeah, photoshop lights up photos..
It's a very complicated program: I am still finding out options & tools..
That's very handy, a brother in law like that! I wish my brother in law was that 'handy'..
Perhaps you could try windows movie maker to lighten up the movies? It works a bit.. And it's easy!
I didn't understand the brighter light further from the lense? |

I use & LOVE Windows Movie Maker!! They do have a "brighter", & "darker" tool on there too. And you can lighten, or darken jsut certain segments if you'd like! I give 5 thumbs up to Windows Movie Maker for video! |

Windows movie maker... Hmmm I have to look into that one. Does it cost money to get it? How much would it cost? I may be good with still photos, man when it comes to videos, I'm so useless at it!!! LOL |

Oh, I really do love it, it's got all the transitions & special effects you can add to your videos & you can add background sounds & music & titles & such too, it's VERY neat!
My WMM came already on my computer when I got it, & I think it's rather expensive to buy the program, but if you take much video, I think it's well worth it!
If you have Windows XP, I think you might be able to download the program, maybe free, from Microsoft Windows on the net (?), not real sure. |

I am going to look for windows movie maker. If it lightens my videos I could use them. I put one on my computer this morning and I got much better sound than on my camera. It may just do. I will send it when I get time and see what you think.
I can layer with Photoshop but have a hard time with lighting a picture. My son is excellent with Photoshop; it amazes me because he has picked it up himself. I always make him do my work so that it is correct. I watch and ask questions but I never quite get it. My generation did not have computers, and a computer filled a whole room and used these weird cards that I could not understand. I will let you know if I find windows movie maker, I am excited to try it if I can find it. |

Hi Debi, if you keep using the program, you'll learn.. At first, I didn't even get the simple things, I just clicked away.. But now some things fall into places.. |
