upload video mystery  Reply with quote

OK I click on 'upload movie' but there is no 'browse' to click on. How does one add a video to the homepage-- perhaps some kind of magic? PS I downloaded the flash player even tho I think I already had it HELP

Hi BB,

I find this very strange! Shocked

Let's start at the beginning?

Can you tell me what kind of browser you have (internet explorer, firefox or something else).

Can you tell me what kind of operating system you use (windows or something else).

Perhaps I need to wait as I am using dialup connection with Win XP. As for my browser??? How do I find out-remember I am not a pc tech. I am only guessing it's Explorer. but for sure there is NO 'browse' inside that window when it first comes up, but for photos it is there at the same time the window opens. I will try again...thanks for your help.

Hi BB,

You say that you are using dailup for your internet connection. That is very slow, especially for uploading and downloading movies.

A question I have for you: Is your windows XP up-to-date? Do you have all the latest updates from Microsoft. (Use http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ ).

Has your PC got a up-to-date anti-virus program?

In the past I have installed the flash-player a few times. It is very easy and very good. I am afraid that the problem is with your own PC.

Something else you can try, is using the firefox-browser ( http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ ).

It is a real bummer when your PC is not doing OK. Sad

Heeeey! He's not being tortured at all! Laughing What is that funny noise he makes? Never heard that! I had to watch if it was him making that noise.
You can post a message in the brag forum: I hope no one misses this vid when you do so!

Hi Sue-- SHE made that sound about an hour after I caught her. And does it any time she is getting stroked or preened by me, especially her neck area. At first she would growl quietly if I rubbed her under the wings or around her feet or tail. After a few months of more bonding I can do most anything and she loves it. Since she came in season a few months ago she cackles even more and squats down with wings spread. All ( except a little bumping around) sounds on vid are from her and you should (and will) see her watching herself on the monitor-- she's not sure what to think. Sometime she makes that sound if I just wave my hand over her, sort of petting without touching. Lucky me!!!

awww, she's so cute!! what funny noises she's making..

although after reading your post, I have to say that patting in certain area on a bird will encourages the hormones and the urge to mate.. and if she isn't 'mated' it could cause behavioural problems, and mental issues. That's why it is strongly recommended that all bird owners only pat them and cuddle and preen them around the head and neck.
