I've placed a video on my diary page but as soon as someone loads the page there's that annoying "placeholder" thing right on top.

what else do I need to do ?

Moreover, I never get a "play" button (while my fiancee does) but that may be due to script blocking.

any help?

Hi Vis_Vitales,

To watch uploaded movies on our website you need two things:
- flashplayer version 8;
- javascript enabled.

When you upload a movie in the editor, you get a "placeholder"-image for this movie.
Then when someone views you homepage or diarypage, the "placeholder"-image is replaced with a flash-based movie-player. This replacing is done by javascript.

We use of a "placeholder"-image because the editor can't show the movies right away.
