Before l send photo's on certain forums or topics l'm not quite sure how it's done other than sending to Sue(admin).I've seen images on other topics around here an just like to know before l make a mistake an oops .I have my own website through my account server with an address but there are many photo's in there or do l have to type my servers address followed buy ????don't know,maybe you could help for l'm not fimiliar with this set up[img]http://www.users.bigpond.com/gregsuj[/img]

Ooopes I clicked on the wrong button. I supposed to preview it before I posted it sorry.

Well that pic worked, I hope you didn't mind. Basically it means it allows direct image linking which allows you to link pics to the the server which is good thing coz then you don't have to load it here.

Alright, well first to post the pic, obviously go to post reply, or post new topic... then click on the button 'img' (you'll see [img] appear in the message box). Then you'll have to paste or copy the url from your server page (which you can obtain by right click and then go to properties if you don't already know that (sorry if you do already)). Make sure it's the full URL, then once that's done, click 'img*'. You'll see [/img] appear in the message box. There you have it. It should work. Well if it all makes sense to you that is. May be someone else can make more sense then I did!! LOL

Hey Greg

More than happy to help. Although I've just been looking at the source of the page (to see why it's a big red X). Just to let you know, FTP sites do not allow direct image linking to another site unfortunately. So you'll have to load it to your other site (the one with bigpond on the http://www one). Hope that makes sense.

Thanks again Bih,appreciate your help l'll send one soon cross my fingers Laughing Sue l have over 50 species of birds in Australia photographed,if you like i can send you a copy of my favourites with there names for you to look at,via pm for it's a parrot site an l don't wn't to confuse everyone Confused Confused Talk soon don't want to keep Bih waiting,for her help is more than l can ask for Very Happy
