H'mm, that's so strange. You know I had the same types of problems at some point, and it was because I had some virus or spyware on my computer, is that a possibilty for you? Or maybe your firewall? It can't have anything to do with with the server or website, because no one else is having those problems. |

Internet Explorer

Although the average user doesn't use those functions often...

I suppose that can't be ruled out, but maybe it's because this computer is so old. Didn't Sue upgrade so everything would be faster? Could that have pushed my system beyond its capabilities?

I'll check the box to be logged in automatically and see if that makes a difference.
It didn't make a difference.

Can I ask what is the thread... I could find it for you...
I don't know the thread; I would like to search for the word "daylilies".
Thank you both for your help. |

Was that a topic, or is that someone's username? Cuz I did a search and came up with nothing, other than google results.
But I see that daylilies are flowers, and this is the only thread of yours I could find that talked about flowers http://www.fluffies.org/en/par.....highlight= Is that the one you were looking for? If not, if you could give me a general idea of what the topic of conversation was, I could find thread very quickly for you, cuz I can just look through your posts, rather then using the search button.
By the way, are you also missing these link from your main page, where at the top left hand corner it says "your new topic watchlist" and below it it says "View your Posts"?

The topic of the thread had nothing to do with daylilies or edible flowers; it was an aside while the main topic was being discussed. I didn't comment at the time because I wanted to do some research first-- so it isn't in my previous posts, either! Yes, I can view my previous posts; I just can't get to anyone else's. |

oh, sorry!! I misunderstood, I thought you had been involved in the thread. So what was the main topic then? I don't need the title of the thread or anything, just generally what the topic being discussed was. Or whose posts are you trying to find? Like I said, if I know what the topic is, or who the person is that you want to reply to, I can probably find it fairly easily, but the search function is finding nothing with daylilies.
I'm sorry that you're having trouble, and feeling frustrated, I'm trying my hardest to help you. |
